Jun. 19th, 2015 07:47 amI'm sort of jumbled right now but for all the right reasons. So, I recently decided that meh, I'll try and get some Shiny Pokemon. Why not? Not much else I'm doing these days and it gets my mind off of certain things. So, anyways, I revved up Omega Ruby since I have the shiny charm and decided to clear the game of items and stuff before I tried this chaining and whatnot on Route 101.
Well, first, I ran into a Shiny Zubat in Meteor Falls. Complete random encounter. I was like hahaha sure! Caught it. It's a female. So I named it after one of my favourite nuzlocker's shiny zubats called Awesome. She's in the box now.
Then I cleared some of the areas of items and went to Route 101. Got the idea of chaining down, not that difficult. I decided later I was going to go for a Shiny Zorua but to start, try and get the lesser pokemon. While I was horde chaining, Shiny Zigzagoon came up! I was like hey hey, why not? Caught it, it's a boy, and I named him Orangesicle.
Anyways, today since I figured out my Secret ID for Platinum I decided to try and lookup RNG guides. Well, most of them are gibberish, straight up. But one sounded easy and I was like "Ehhh, alright." I tried it. It seemed sort of weird. But hey, I did it. Anyways, long story short...
I have a shiny Houndour. I couldn't believe it. And I wanted one for the Mega-Evolutions since they came out. I'm floored. So, today, I am RNG abusing the system. I have pretty much wanted shiny pokemon of all of generation 4 for a long time because they are my favourite and just ahahahahhaa. YES. When I'm done at least six of them, I'm going to transfer them to White 2. Then transfer those to Omega Ruby and train the cuties up. I need to figure out which system can take them, though, as my Omega Ruby is almost full with pokemon because it has my full living dex but idk. I'm just ecstatic right now.
Like FINALLY. Finally I can get a few of the babies I've wanted for headcanon reasons! Like a Shiny Lucario (I will try until I get a girl) named Amber and my Shiny Bastiodon for Byron!

BrightSteelShipping fuck yeah. Because I... have problems.
Also BrightSteel came to me in the night. I was thinking PinkSteel shipping but Mei doesn't actually wear a lot of pink. But most of her clothes are bright and cheery (and pastel) when you look at Byron. So, Bright Steel.
I also jumped on them when I loaded up my White 2 cartridge and saw Byron mulling around outside the Pokemon World Tournament. Made me think of Champion Mei facing Byron with her fucking bitchass team and them both duking it out and afterwards going for a Casteliacone because fuck yeah, that was an awesome match. And if anyone else comes along they better be as awesome as them because no losers allowed.
Which means really no one else ha ha ha. No, not even Roark because shit son, I wiped the floor with your team.

Surprising, I actually did as I said I was going to do today. And that was map out my run. It's 18 pages long of notes and such and I had to edit over that to see if it comes together. But basically I got it split into two parts. And Team Galactic is sort of downplayed, which I'm unsure if I like that or not. But at the same time, why would a kid be facing them? Especially when other, more powerful kids aren't.

Champion of the World
Jun. 12th, 2015 08:57 pmOh man, today was tense. But I finally did it. I ended my Nuzlocke run of Diamond, 72 hours later. I beat the Champion with no deaths making it 12 deaths in total since I started (God, some of them killed me) and now all I have to do is start worldbuilding and seeing if I can write this out. I really want to but I don't want to make a bunch of loose headcanons. After reading this one unfinished run that was very tightly knit together, I want to make sure mine is just like that.
But to do so... I might go read it again, ha ha. What I want to do is incorporate some Bloodborne mythos, Skyrim worldbuilding, and various references into a completely, good story. But again, I am doubting if it is. Should I scrap the romantic undertones or not...? But the entire point I started Diamond was to move into Alpha Sapphire. Hm.
Decisions.
Whatever. I guess tomorrow I'll get out some paper and start mapping how I want to go about things. Unless we do go down to see my horse, then I'll do that. But I think it might rain, for once, so there's no point in me mucking about.

May. 21st, 2015 09:41 amSo, I've got Morrowind pulled up on my computer right now, paused, and what am I doing? Playing Pokemon. Like a winner.
I don't know. I do want to keep playing the Elder Scrolls but at the same time, ugggggh. I go check for fics and they all make me cringe. Like I am not a fan of second-hand embarrassment, I'll tell you whayt. And there's just so much second-hand embarrassment I keep coming across.
Again, I love the Elder Scrolls like anything but maybe I do need to take a break. And Pokemon is a pretty great needed break. I'm still dicking around with it, though. Because I don't know which cartridge to put my entire living dex on. For the 3DS Pokemon games, I have Pokemon X (Digital), Pokemon X (Cartridge), Pokemon Y (Cartridge), Pokemon AS (Digital), Pokemon AS (Cartridge), and Pokemon OR (Cartridge). Right now ALL my pokemon - my living Pokedex, shiny pokemon, Pokerus pokemon, foreign pokemon - are on Omega Ruby. But the problem is, if I want to replay that, I can't. Because that means my ENTIRE dex will be erased. So, my issue is... should I get a digital version of Omega Ruby? That way my cartridge can sit and be my Living Dex. Or should I just withhold myself because come on. When the next game comes out, all my pokemon will be transferred anyways.
The hard decisions in life, I know. But considering I've been playing Pokemon for... Let's see, I started with Pokemon White so... 2011? I started? Yeah, so I've only been playing Pokemon for 4 years but I have every single game. I've beaten Platinum twice like a boss because it is my favourite. I have two cartridges of Diamond, two of Platinum, two of White 2, two of Black 2, the japanese versions of HeartGold, White, and White 2... like I have spent a good long time getting everything. I can still recall the day I went to EB Games and got Keldeo for White 2. Getting my Arceus from the DreamWorld. My dear sweet darling Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina shinies. There's so many memories.
And with those comes replay value. I honestly think Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are the best in the entire series now (until Platinum comes out on re-release). I love them. I love them SO fucking much like clenching hands and tears. So, it wouldn't be a loss to get it again. I would definitely replay them. But again... moneeey. I severely lack it.
Hmm. Something to think about I suppose.
Right now, though, I think I need to go back and check out all my save files and document them. Maybe I need to get back into Pokemon. Or at least my favourites. Because shit, I think I'll keep loving pokemon until the day I die.
So that's my goal today.

Not going to lie, X/Y is always going to be my least favourite. Like it was so bland. I felt like it was just a FANBOY KANTO LOVESTORY AND THIRTEEN NEW POKEMON push. The story is just awful. The villain crying was so fucking embarrassing. And the postgame was shit. Just, never will I like it.
And I love Lyra from HGSS but the lack of diverse pokemon (how many fucking rattatas do you feel the need to punish people with) and the START IN KANTO NOW! ALL THE POKEMON ARE LEVEL 3. THE GYM LEADERS ARE LEVEL 59, not to mention the horrible phone system just killed it for me.
And yeah, Platinum and now ORAS will be my tops because I fucking love Sinnoh, I fucking love RES and the remakes made it so much more incredible and I will fangirl for them for eternity now.

I am 11 hours into the game and just heading to Slateport to chase down Archie.

But then again, Hoenn's story is so, so, so much fucking better than X & Y's... Like I feel at ease already not having to deal with LYSANDRE CRYING. SO SAD. SUCH SYMPATHY.

I am almost there. It's maddening.
But the good news is that I accomplished one of my goals. I got a Ditto Safari from a sweet girl in Germany! YES! I already caught two but am going to gear up today to catch more. And catch a lot of Garchomps too. I am gonna attempt it: A Garchomp with at least 5 Perfect IVs, Rough Skin Ability, and EVs in Attack, Speed, and HP with a Naive or Jolly Nature.
*inhales then exhales*
And no, I'm not a competitive battler. I just want a perfect Garchomp ;___; because my babies!
So, that's my plan for today. I might throw my cartridge of Pokemon X I'm planning to use as a Pokedex Cartridge and play it until I can get it to the point where I can transfer Pokemon over and use my Y exclusively, at the moment, to breed. Because I literally have no box space anymore. It's crazy. But I'm going to catch as many Dittos as I can before then because I really don't want to lose my Ditto Safari since I have to change cartridges out.

Nuzlocke.
Yes, once again I am STUCK on Nuzlocking, like an idiot. This time for my Pokemon X Cartridge game. Considering I have grown as a writer, I am wondering if I can do it this time. I usually finish Nuzlocke's but never properly document them. I tried once with Pokemon Sapphire and my trainer Neptune with her Mudkip Togg but eventually the 'LOL DISREGARD I SUCK COCKS' mentality came upon me and I stopped. Anyways, but as always and as I do every single year, I'm starting again. Mostly because school is, well, school. The kids in my Math class are psycho bitter right now and I honestly find Pokemon a great escape from how frightening people can be. Like I'm not kidding. We had a quiz today in Math and once we finished, so many people were hissing how they failed. Many left! They just handed in their test and walked out! We had 20 minutes of class left!
The overall atmosphere is pretty dark in the class, my teacher contributing to it as well and since I do not gripe and moan, the two boys I talked with sort of ignore me now. It doesn't really bother me, I have Pokemon and soon ORAS. I'm doing good in Chemistry and I've written more Skyrim Fics For My Eyes Only so I'm content. I do wish the rest of my class was too, though.

Yes, once again I am STUCK on Nuzlocking, like an idiot. This time for my Pokemon X Cartridge game. Considering I have grown as a writer, I am wondering if I can do it this time. I usually finish Nuzlocke's but never properly document them. I tried once with Pokemon Sapphire and my trainer Neptune with her Mudkip Togg but eventually the 'LOL DISREGARD I SUCK COCKS' mentality came upon me and I stopped. Sep. 29th, 2014 09:54 amOkay, so I was going to study for my Chemistry Test yesterday, but I needed some time to myself! With driving around all Saturday to get my tires done and then a horse auction, not to mention I've lost a lot of sleep this week and haven't been eating very well (shame on me), I was exhausted and spent Sunday playing Pokemon!
So, now I'm sitting here at school trying to study right now for the upcoming test. I'm not overly worried... Mol and Mass Calculations do have me frowning but I've got a good handle on Electron Configuration and I still can remember some of the Total Ionic Equations. I'm not aiming for 100% on the test but I am thinking I will do still from 70% - 90%. I don't aim high, I aim reasonable.
Tomorrow, though, I have another Math test and HA HA, that will be brutal. Our teacher really doesn't know how to teach. Every time I go to his class I feel more lost than when I began. That isn't a good sign. But, what can you do...
Anyways, I am pretty happy I have to admit. Yesterday's play of Pokemon did bag me some greats. I finally went and caught Zygarde - and I didn't use a Masterball! Catching Yveltal made me wonder how easy this shit was and I went into my copy of Pokemon X and went to face Zygarde. It took about 5 dusk balls before I got him. My darling Comet is now equipped with False Swipe and a Garchompite so he was set.
Then I went to get Mewtwo. The first time he spent FOREVER recovering (UGH) and shit. It was about 15 turns in when he knocked down Comet. Then Nate, my Gogoat, had a good handle until he decided he was going to knock Mewtwo out. Insert me restarting. Second time, Comet knocked him right out on the first hit. Another restart. The last time, it only took about 3 Dusk Balls and a Timer Ball to catch him. I was shocked. He wasn't even at 1hp, he had about 6hp left. But I threw, caught him, and then screamed in relief when it clicked.
So, Piccolo the Mewtwo with the Mewtwoite X or whatever is now in my box. Go me~! All I have left in terms of legendaries is fucking roaring up Pokemon White 2 and catching the rocks, going and getting the Hoenn Weather Trio, The Creation Trio (in non-shiny form), and Lugia. It'll take me a while, I can tell. But whatever. I've got all the games, I should be able to get it done.
Other than that... not much else. I did want some custom keychains but the price is too high for me right now. I need to buy an SD card that will replace the one in my current 3DS. 4GB is nothing. With Alpha Sapphire coming, I want it on my system to play through once before switching to the cartridge.
I should probably get back to studying...

Like, um... were legendaries always this easy? I remember fucking dying with Dialga because STAY IN THE FUCKING BALL. We're not even gonna talk about the stupid third Generation or the damn dogs/bird in every generation.
Like, I dunno. I was just sort of like "... That's it?"
Oh well. At least now I can feed him puffs and make him love me.

There's debate on whether it will be distributed here and if it is, it might only be in like, major, major cities like Toronto. I don't know, I'm disappointed. I keep hoping maybe we'll get a break and told we can go to EB Games or somewhere else and pick things up but it constantly seems to be in the dark for us.
Which really upsets me because I'd like to just have these Pokemon to cherish (not BRAG about like someone people online like omg) but you know. What can you do I suppose.

After 9 months of having my iPhone 5 backcover be of the Falkreath flag, I am changing it out... for Deadmau5. It's not like I don't like Falkreath anymore, I sure the fuck still get giddy and stupid over the THOUGHT of seeing Jarl Siddgeir and my lovelies of the Hold. But I want a change and a glow-in-the-dark deadmau5 head seems to be it. Plus, it will give my case a chance to rest. Well, until my Espurr case come in herpderp.
Other than that, I went and helped my Aunt today feeding the horses. My cousin was working and it's muddy as anything out so I basically talked to my Aunt for a while then came back home. We were supposed to go riding today but I think my cousin forgot. I'm not totally bummed about it. This means today I can spend on Skyrim and then maybe write something for myself. School has actually been pretty draining of my creativity so I would like to write SOMETHING at least.
Other than that... bought more Pokemon merchandise, ahaha. I really can't wait for my custom Garchomp plush to be made. I'm so happy I asked for it! Now I just have to figure out which of my six male Garchomps to name it. Comet, Nebula, Black Hole, Cosmos, Stellar, or Gravity? Comet really came through for me in Pokemon X (He literally took a full on Moonblast from Diantha and held on with one HP to take down her Mega Gardevoir and win the title for me. I cried. No lie.), but Cosmos was my first Garchomp who freaking blew up Cynthia's Team. Nebula is his son from breeding with Persephone (My female Garchomps are named after Goddesses haha) and I like him since he was great in the post game, but man, his father...
And Black Hole, my deceased Garchomp Artemis' son... Damn Nuzlockes. Ahhhh... I have too many feelings with my male Garchomps! They've all made me so proud! I guess I can name it later once I actually have him, but the debate in my head will rage on!
